1. About NearbyView

NearbyView is a platform being developed to connect people who request current videos of places (“requesters”) with people who can film those places (“filming partners”). Some features may be offered as early access, a pilot or a preview and may change before commercial launch.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
• NearbyView may require identity, profile, location or equipment verification before enabling certain features.

3. Roles and agreements between users

A user may act as a requester, filming partner or both. NearbyView helps users find each other and manage a request, but filming partners remain responsible for deciding whether a task is lawful, safe and suitable. Unless expressly stated otherwise, filming partners are independent users and are not employees or agents of NearbyView.

4. Requests and acceptance

• Requests must clearly describe the place, route, date, time, duration, desired quality and any relevant instructions.
• A filming partner may accept, reject or stop a request if conditions are unsafe, illegal, materially different from the description or technically impractical.
• Users must communicate honestly and cooperate in good faith.

5. Safety, privacy and prohibited activity

• No stalking, surveillance, harassment or targeted filming of a person.
• No filming on private property or in restricted areas without permission.
• No request that violates privacy, intellectual-property, public-order or local filming rules.
• No dangerous activity, trespass, deception, discrimination or illegal content.
• No attempt to bypass platform safety, payment or dispute procedures.

6. Equipment and quality

The requester may select an expected quality level or equipment type. Smartphone filming may have a different price from GoPro, stabilized, drone, 360-degree or professional camera work. Listing equipment does not guarantee a particular result; the agreed request details and actual delivery determine acceptance.

7. Prices and payments

Before paid transactions are enabled, the applicable price, fees, taxes, cancellation rules and payment flow will be shown to both sides. The intended workflow allows the requester to pay before filming while funds remain protected, with release after delivery and confirmation. A separate payment provider may process funds and apply its own terms and verification requirements.

8. Video delivery, review and disputes

Footage may be delivered through a secure upload link or another method shown in the request. The requester must review the delivery within the stated period and identify material differences from the agreed instructions. If the parties disagree, NearbyView may review request details, messages, confirmations and relevant footage and may apply a refund, partial payment or other reasonable outcome under the policy displayed at that time.

9. Rights in submitted footage

The filming partner must own or control the rights needed to upload and deliver the footage. The requester receives only the usage rights described in the accepted request. Unless expressly agreed, neither party may use the other party’s name, likeness, private information or content for unrelated advertising. Users grant NearbyView the limited rights needed to store, transmit, review and deliver content and to operate the service.

10. Availability and disclaimers

NearbyView may modify, suspend or discontinue pilot features. We do not guarantee that a filming partner will be available, that every request can be completed, or that footage will meet a purpose not stated in the request. The service is provided with reasonable care, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Suspension and termination

NearbyView may restrict or close accounts that violate these terms, create safety or legal risk, misuse payments, infringe rights or harm other users. You may stop using the service at any time, subject to completing or resolving active commitments.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, NearbyView is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, user conduct or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

13. Governing rules and changes

These terms are governed by applicable Romanian law, without removing mandatory protections available in your country of residence. We may update the terms as NearbyView develops. Material changes will be communicated where required, and continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
